Mrs. Ann Laury
Early Childhood Education Director
The early childhood years are the beginning stages of a child's school career. At Christ the King Lutheran School, we believe it is imperative to educate the "whole" child through developmentally appropriate, interactive, and experienced based activities that foster spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social growth. Teachers serve as guides and facilitators of learning while students spend their time in hands-on activities, dialogues, and discussions. The curriculum is Christ-centered and integrates themes which enable each child to become curious, interested, and enthusiastic about learning. The warm and loving environment fosters basic life experiences and encourages children to become the "makers of meaning," creating a desire for lifelong learning.
