Welcome to the Preschool Department at Christ the King Lutheran School.  We have programs for two-year-olds, three-year-olds, and four-year-olds.  We realize that some parents need full-time childcare for their children, while others desire a part-time program that provides their children opportunities for socialization and kindergarten readiness.  

 

Whether you choose full-time care (Monday-Friday: 6:30-6:00 or 8:00-3:00), our Parents' Day Out program for two and three year olds (Tuesday & Thursdays: 8:30am-2:30pm), or our preschool program for four-year-olds (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday: 8:00-11:30 or 8:00am-3:00pm), your child will be taught in a nurturing, child-centered environment that has a focus on developing the whole child to his or her potential.

 

 

Christ the King two (2) year old class, Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and PS 4 classes are open to children who are age two (2), three (3), or four (4) on or before September 30 of the current school year. In the case of the Parent's Day Out program, a child must be 2 years old by September 30th to be in the 2 year old Parent’s Day Out class or 3 years old by September 30th to be in the 3 year old Parent's Day Out class. Exceptions can only be made by unanimous consent of the Teacher and Coordinator. Children entering the Preschool must be fully toilet-trained, with the exception of the full time 2 year old class and the 2 year old Parent’s Day Out class.

 

An enrollment form (available by clicking on the link below) completed by the parent and a current immunization record signed by a health care provider along with a birth certificate must accompany the child upon admission to the Preschool programs. All children entering our program must visit our Preschool before being fully accepted. There is an annual $225 non-refundable enrollment fee for all full time returning and new students for the school year. There is an annual $125.00 enrollment fee for the Parent’s Day Out program, and a $100.00 activity fee for those attending Summer Camp. All forms and fees as well as a payment plan must be received with the application.
