Mrs. Donna Gable (K-4th grade) Greetings from one-half of your music department. My name is Donna Gable, and I am the teacher of music for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. So that you may get to know me better, I'll mention a little about myself. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. I received my B.S.Ed. degree from Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois (now known as Concordia University, Chicago). I taught four years in Frankenmuth, Michigan, then moved to Memphis, where I taught various grades at Holy Cross Lutheran School. I married a native Memphian, Paul. We have three daughters and one grandson. In 1995, I accepted a call to teach at Christ the King, where I remained until I 'retired' in 2001. Since 2001, I have enjoyed teaching music to the children at CTK.
Mr. Kirk Neugebauer (5th - 8th grade)I am a member of CTK Lutheran church, and have worked in various capacities for the school over the years. I have worked in the preschool afterschool care program, the k-8 afterschool care program, summer camp, and last fall worked as a substitute teacher. I have a degree in business administration from the University of Memphis, and am currently working on earning a masters in curriculum and instruction from Cumberland University. This will be my first year as the music teacher for the school, and I am looking forward to working with all the wonderful staff and students. Music has always been a passion and a hobby of mine, which is why I am so eager to work with a curriculum that I believe will be as fun and informational as possible. I am truly blessed to be here and know that this will be another wonderful chapter in my membership of the CTK family!
