CTK Lutheran church has very active programs for the children and youth of the congregation.  All children in our preschool and day school are welcome and encouraged to take part in these ministries. 

 

There are groups for all ages.  Children in the preschool through third grade are involved in Children's Ministries.

Children attending grades four through six are in Light Force.

Seventh and eighth graders participate in LIFT.

 LIFT is the jr. high ministry for christ the king. LIft stands for LIVing in faith together.  I love this name because as anyone can tell you jr. high is not always the most fun in a person’s life. so many changes are happening and school is getting harder and parents little child isn’t little anymore so it is important that we all remember that we have others that are living in faith together. we are living with the one constant in life jesus Christ: the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow!

 

LIFT meets the first and third thursday of every month from 3:30 until 5:00 in the youth room of christ the king.  The core values that we focus on at lift meetings are: Krunk for Christ, Lost and found, and Friends

Lift D-groups meets the second and fourth thursday of every month at different Locations.  Lift small groups is divided into 7th grade boys, 7th grade girls, 8th grade boys, and 8th grade girls. each group meets with their leader and is a time to really get into the word of God. The core values that we focus on here are D-Groups and friends.
