3rd Grade Supply List

MRS. NOVY’S 3RD GRADE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST


1.  2 dz. #2 PRE-SHARPENED YELLOW pencils
2.  48 count CRAYOLA crayons**
3.  CRAYOLA PRE-SHARPENED colored pencils**
4.  10 ct. CRAYOLA classic (fat) markers**
5.  6 Elmer’s glue sticks**
6.  Fiskars pointed scissors**
7.  1 large bottle Elmer's glue: white or blue**
8.  CRAYOLA (double sided) water colors** 
9.  Ruler lined with inches and centimeters
10. 4 Spiral bound notebooks (70 pages):  1 blue; 1 red; 1 yellow; 1 green  (NOT College Ruled)
11. 6 Folders with POCKETS and PRONGS:   1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 orange, 1 purple, 1 blue
12. 1 “fun” LAMINATE-type folder with POCKETS only for daily communication between home and school
13. 1 Assignment Book – this MUST be purchased through the school office for a minimal cost
14. 2 boxes of PUFFS/PUFFS PLUS Facial Tissue  (More may be requested during the school year!)
15. 1 box UNSCENTED baby wipes
16. 1 large container CLOROX wipes
17. 1 package of pencil top erasers and hand held erasers**
18. 3 RED ink pens for checking**
19. 1 hand-held PENCIL Sharpener
20. BIBLE:  New International Version.  This MUST be purchased  through the school office. 
21. Hymnal  All God's People Sing!   This also MUST be purchased through the school office.
          (Both the BIBLE and the HYMNAL are the ones that were used in 2nd grade.)
22. SIX JUMBO STRETCHY Book Covers.  These are the easiest kind to use…they may be purchased at Wal-Mart or Target.
23. 1 CLEAR “shoebox” type and size container with your child’s name neatly written on it.  All items with the ** will be placed in this container.

These supplies will be brought to school in August at the “Open House.”   The date and time will be announced in upcoming school letters.

 
SPANISH SUPPLIES

One White 1” ring binder, 1 package of #2 pencils

 Each student is responsible for his or her own folder, binder, handouts, books, and workbooks.  If a book is lost or damaged, a new one must be purchased.  Also, if a student loses any class material given out in class, he or she must inform the teacher so that the material may be replaced.
