Technology

Technology plays an integral role in our curriculum at Christ the King. Students in grades K-5 regularly use iPads in the classroom. Computers support and enhance our curriculum and prepare students for their high school years.

Students in grades 6-7 receive their own Chromebook for personal use throughout the year and students in grade 8 have access to a MacBook Air laptop computer. All student laptops and many computer apps are used throughout the year for the classroom-learning environment. Parents have an option to purchase insurance through the school using the iPad/laptop protection plan. If insurance is not purchased, the family is responsible for the cost to replace an iPad/laptop that has been damaged.

Students in grades 6-8 utilize personal laptops in classrooms to access online textbooks, conduct research, produce technology related projects, and access many useful websites.
