Meet Lorene Beaudry

When did I begin working at Christ the King:

  • I started working at CTK in 2001. 

 

The best thing about CTK is:

  • The thing I love about CTK is that the teachers see our job as a ministry for the parents and children. We feel that families are a very  important part of God's family. We try to give them help and support in any way that we can.

 

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor of Liberal Arts

 

Favorite Bible verse/quote:  

  • Isaiah 40:31 "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

 

If I weren't doing what I do today, I would be a:  

  • Years ago, I lived on a look-out tower on a mountain in the forest. I was working for the U.S. Forest Service and spent my time looking for forest fires. Living there was one of the highlights of my life. If look-out towers were still around today, I would be living a mile high in the forest.

 

What "lesson from mom" do I still live by today:  

  • This too will pass.

 

If I could spend a week anywhere in the world, it would be:

  • In Spain

 

Favorite movie of all time: 

  • The Treasure of the Sierra Madre with Humphrey Bogart

 

Favorite sports team:

  • Seattle Seahawks

 

Favorite food/restaurant: 

  • Babalu

 

Best concert I've ever attended: 

  • Moody Blues

 

If I could learn to do anything, it would be:

  • Ballroom dancing

       

What am I most proud of:

  • My three children
