This most recent incident is a sober reminder to all of us to follow the often-repeated advice: if you see something, say something. We encourage you to speak with your children about concerns they may have regarding anything that is communicated to them personally or through social media. We would rather hear too much than too little.
We also want to remind you that at CTK, our security policies and procedures are reviewed and updated on a continuous basis. Our campus is patrolled continually by a Tennessee-licensed armed security guard. In addition, our faculty and staff undergo regular training and have designated responsibilities related to security; these responsibilities are practiced during regular intruder drills.
