Christ the King's Athletic Program is an integral part of our role in educating the whole child. In the 2016-2017 school year, 91% of our students students in the K4-8th grades participated in at least 1 sport that CTK offers. I believe what makes our Athletic Program so special is the emphasis we have on everybody getting a chance to play and try new things. We have young athletes who have been unsure about wanting to try something new, and after trying it they grow to love that sport.
The most important thing that we want to see out of our student athlete is that he or she is a good sport, gives his/her very best effort, and grows in respect for his/her coaches, officials, and parents. We believe that if this sportsmanship seed is planted in our Kindergarten -- 4th grade athletes, we can then apply those principles to athletes that are learning to be a bit more competitive and striving to be victorious.
Most importantly, we want to glorify God in all that we do on the court, field, or track.
