When did I begin working at Christ the King:  

  • August 2021

The best thing about CTK is:  

  • The amount of faith we incorporate into our kids' everyday lives. We make sure that everything we do can be related back to Jesus and His teachings.

Educational Background:

  • Murray State University; Bachelor's degree in Special Education

Favorite Bible verse/quote:  

  • "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go." Joshua 1:9

If I weren't doing what I do today, I would be:  

  • I never have thought about it. Teaching is all I have ever wanted to do.

 

What "lesson from mom" do I still live by today:

  • Being kind costs you nothing.

 

If I could spend a week anywhere in the world, it would be:  

  • Ireland. I have always wanted to travel there since I was a little girl.

Favorite movie of all time:  

  • Hidden Figures

Favorite sports team:  

  • Auburn Tigers, Memphis Tigers, Memphis Grizzlies.

Favorite food/restaurant:  

  • Huey's

Best concert I've ever attended:  

  • Country Music Festival; Darius Rucker

 

If I could learn to do anything, it would be:  

  • Play an instrument

What am I most proud of:  

  • I am most proud of having the opportunity to teach and support my students in their education journey.
