Technology

Technology plays an integral role in our middle school curriculum at Christ the King as technology supports and enhances student learning while preparing students for their high school academic career. Students in grades 6-8 utilize personal laptops in classrooms to access online textbooks, conduct research, and produce technology related projects.

Students in grades 6-8 receive a MacBook for academic use. In addition, students will receive a school issued email address. Email addresses allow students access to the Google Suite and its hosted apps. 

Parents have an option to purchase insurance through the school using the laptop protection plan. If insurance is not purchased, the family is responsible for the cost to replace the laptop that has been damaged.
